Torre Civica
The Torre Civica and the Palazzo dei Trecento have always been symbols of Treviso. These monuments, which are plainly visible from the suggestive Piazza dei Signori, have changed appearance many times throughout history.
Torre dei Canonici
Torre dei Canonici, located on Via Paris Bordone and looking over Piazza Pola, is a brick structure that dates from the XIIIth Century characterized by two rounded entrances. On the largest of the two there are two coats of arms in stone: the first one signifying dominion and the second pertaining to the Loredan family, now disappeared, but which took care of one of the most important renewals of the tower, at the beginning of the XVIth Century.
Torre degli Oliva
The Torre degli Oliva was built in the XIIIth Century with a brick-wall structure. In spite of numerous interventions throughout history, the remains of the original tower can still be seen.
Torre del Visdomino
In ancient times, Torre del Visdomino was called “Torre Cornarotta”, after the family that owned it. During the XVIth Century, it was bought by the Burchielati family, which gave it its current name. Between 1909 and 1915, it was the studio of sculptor Arturo Martini.
